So you decided you needed to get fit. You potentially began with a learn to nordic walk course and then you began with adventure walks.
Some of you maybe continued your journey into workout walks, trek fit and ski fit. Those really getting into it then began indoor circuits etc.
Many clients then think “What can I do now” or “Where is my motivation” or “What are my goals”.
This is where the holidays and trips come in.
Many nordic walking UK instructors, UK wide, offer day trips and weekends away. In recent months, here at Mercian Nordic Walking, we have walked The Somme Battlefields, walked the Cornish Cliffs and Tin Mines, and enoyed the Woolacombve beeches in Devon.
As for challenges, we have taken part in marathons, half marathons (nordic walking), The Cotswold 24 Hour Race and many others. I am currently planning walking Hadrian’s Wall in 2021.
We have more holidays and trips booked that can be found on our Facebook Page here:
This page shows numerous trips posted by instructors from all over the country to all manner of places.
It is not always about being fit for hard challenges, For instance, training whilst with your local instructor and actually working hard in your everyday walks will get you ready for the trips away so they feel easier for you and therefore you will enjoy them more.
