After some initial reservations my nordic walking friend eventually persuaded me to try it out – I wanted to get fitter , lose some weight and get out and meet new people – the gym just didn’t do it for me.
I really enjoy all the sessions – the instructors are an innovative bunch who each offer different types of sessions depending upon fitness level and ability – in my case I just enjoy the variety.
I’ve enjoyed sunshine , been soaked to the skin , seen Sanders Park via a head lamp at night and endured Ians’ scary stories whilst walking through Bromsgrove church yard at night.��

I feel fitter , have more stamina and basically Nordic Walking makes me feel good.
