Where do I start…it has to be with a great big smile on my face! 🙂
I absolutely love this Sport/Activity, it is just fantastic!
I had no idea what to expect when I booked onto the 6 week progressive fitness course that ran November into December, 1 hour each week in Sanders Park.
I was hooked from week 1. Then did training to get passport enabling me to book on any of the walks and there are loads to choose from. Have done 2 walks so far, the 3 miler from and back to the Queens Head, followed by a coffee and a good natter in the pub, and the Grafton Manor 5 Miler starting and ending in Sanders Park. Have now done two sessions of the Trek Fit which is a bit of everything, walking plus breaks for various exercises along the way.
Have met some really lovely people, now starting to feel like one of the gang.
Ian has to be the most enthusiastic and encouraging person I have ever met, so passionate about what he teaches.
My fitness used to consist of gym based classes such as pilates and yoga, I have never done anything particularly cardio based and was worried whether I would manage, but I did, and I can already tell that my overall fitness is improving.
If you are wondering whether to give it a go, please do, it is just brilliant!!!!
